To come top in the competition, Feyide netted a score of 71, beating over 200 others who took part in the 21st edition of the glamorous Nigeria Cup; a week-long competition put in place to celebrate the nation’s Independence anniversary.
The victory was his second on the Nigeria Cup leaderboard. The first was recorded in 2006.

Bolaji Tajudeen Musah amongst others.
Meanwhile, Feyide’s 71-net score was one-shot better than Donald Ehenemba who returned 72-net score beating two others-Grant Daniel and Abubakar Lawal-with the same score on Countback.
Daniel Meyer, who also signed for 72-net score, completed the top-five in the net category. He also lost on countback
Frank Momoh’s 78-gross put him ahead of four others in the gross category. Former Nigeria Cup champion, Tim Ayomike, came second with 80-gross while Olakunle Olatunde came third. Sola Omilabu came fourth in the men’s gross category.
Waking from a slow start as a result of paucity of fund, the Nigeria Cup 2017 Committee led by Brig-Gen. Musbau Amolegbe delivered a wonderful tournament to the admiration of all.
